My name is Walter Díaz, a certified Naturalist Guide and tourism entrepreneur in Costa Rica, proudly born and raised in Bijagua de Upala and founder of Bijagua Expeditions Costa Rica.

My passion for conservation, wildlife, and authentic nature has guided my life’s purpose: sharing the extraordinary natural wealth of Costa Rica with travelers from around the world in a responsible, meaningful way.

With deep knowledge of the ecosystems of Bijagua and Tenorio Volcano National Park, I specialize in designing personalized, safe, and educational experiences focused on responsible wildlife observation, environmental interpretation, and respect for biodiversity.
